Chateau Le Grand Vostock was built and put into operation in 2003 in the Krimsk district about 50 kilometers from the Black Sea coast. Chateau Le Grand Vostock has a capacity of over 100,000 cases (1.2 million bottles) per year. The winery fully owns 1613 hectares of land, including 492 hectares of vineyards, and has the use of an additional 1328 hectares of land. It was built through an investment of approximately $5 million entirely with French technology, equipment, and consultants, and it is operated by French wine specialists. Chateau Le Grand Vostock produces blended wines (rather than varietal) in a quality range comparable to the French Vin de Pays to Crus Bourgeois.
