Krasnodar
Region is the heart of Russia's primary agriculture producing
area, stretching from the Black Sea on the west to the Stavropol region
on the east. Over fifty crops are grown in the region including
grapes, tree fruits, vegetables, and grains. Krasnodar region
has an early growing season due to its mild climate and has excellent
soil. Over fifty percent of Russia's vineyards are in Krasnodar's
region.

is also home to many Black Sea resorts including Anapa and the famous
Anapa and Temruk wine districts. From the southern part of Krasnodar,
there is access to the Caucasus mountains, the highest in Europe.
